On August 20, 2024, Phylis Natoli and Jim Volpe, both officers of the Marianne Volpe & Debbie-Ann Chang Charitable Fund, generously helped to launch our association's very first formal fundraising event. All of the proceeds from that evening will support the student recipients of the 2025 United for Change Memorial Scholarship.
The evening was a wonderful success thanks to the 100+ guests in attendance that night. In addition to the funds that were raised, meaningful connections were made among those who took part in that evening's festivities. Guests were treated to dinner and beverages and were able to take part in a 50/50 raffle. Additonally, 40 gift baskets were raffled off, something that could not have taken place without the contributions made by numerous local merchants, along with contibutions provided by a number of family members and friends.
In addition to the efforts of Phylis amd Jim, we would be remiss if we did not thank the proprietors of Kasey's Kitchen and Cocktails of Rockville Centre.
We are providing a list of those who supported our fundrasier through their generous contributions.
