If you are donating to our association, please make note that at this time we are now offically recognized by NY State as the "United For Change Association". All donations in the form of a check, may now be made out to United For Change. Thank you.
Over the last four years, the Say Their Names Association has awarded over $60,000 to students from over 18 Long Island school districts. We begin our fifth year as the United For Change Association. Although our name has changed, our commitment to supporting students who meet the scholarship criteria remains the same.
Real change begins with an exchange of ideas and information that inspires others to act. Each member of the United For Change Association recognizes the potential for change and is committed to ongoing discussions that, in turn, are designed to enlist others to take action. Through perserverence, commitment, and an unwavering passion, our group is united in its efforts to bring about change in the lives of students who represent our future. We look forward to keeping the conversation going. We hope you join us as we stand United for Change!
As always, thank you to those who have contributed. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. The members of the United For Change Association are looking forward to our fifth year of providing the United For Change Memorial Scholarship to those students who demonstrate that they are committed to providing positive change within their respective communities. Looking ahead, we hope we can continue to count on your generouse contributions, which will help to make a difference in the lives of the recipients of this scholarship. As we did last year, we will provide periodic updates of the donations we have received. It is our hope that we can exceed last year's amount, which will enable us to present additional scholarships.
Our association is beginning to look ahead with excitement to the 2024-25 school year and hope to surpass the donation amount of this past year. It is our goal to award even more scholarships for the 2025 school year.
